Joey Reiman, the CEO of my former agency, was a frequent guest branding expert on CNN. His segments focused on how the latest corporate blunder could be the starting point for positive change. Joey never had much time to prep, so everyone at the agency contributed ideas. When the Blackfish film exposed SeaWorld’s mistreatment of whales, Joey went on CNN to discuss the park’s next steps. One of my ideas made it on air, and it caught the hosts completely off guard.
